Kitchen Tips Week 2

2nd week of Kitchen Tips leads into how to decide which style cabinetry you want to go with.
In the cabinet world there are a few basic cabinet construction types. 1.) Full Overlay (traditional construction) 2.) Inset (more furniture looking) 3.) Frameless (modern construction).
There is no right or wrong between the three, they each give a different look in the end result.

1.) Full Overlay
This is when the cabinet box has a faceframe (like the inset) but the cabinet door sits on top of it.  This is a very traditional way of making cabinetry.

2.) Inset
An Inset cabinets is when the door is actually inset into the cabinet frame. Shown below, giving a more furniture look to the kitchen.

 3.) Frameless
The cabinet box does not have a faceframe allowing the door to butup very close to the one next to it.
